Last Sunday were planned to drag the power poles for the bridge in, but the little dumper couldn't budge them.  We tidied up the track just above the creek instead.

Alec set about making one of the switchback corners nicer to ride.

Water was pretty much flowing out of the bank where we cut one of the corners last week, so Steve scooped some of the mud out and Alan set about digging a ditch above the corner to divert the water.

Alan just about finished digging a drainage ditch around one of the corners.  Were getting a good flow of water through it.

Mat and Allan were keen to do more work so we cut the bottom hub where the downhill and uphill tracks come together near the dip in the road.

This is where we got to - the old water intake on Wakari Creek.  Will be a nice spot once we finish clearing all the trees that are blocking the creek.  The power company recently chopped them down to keep them clear of the power lines that go overhead.
