Inaugral XC race to be held at Cape Wanbrow in Oamaru on Sunday 19th February, starting at 10:00am (Registration from 9:00am).

Set among tall pines, the course winds around the scenic Cape headland on newly developed MTB tracks, purpose-built by Andrew Hare and Michael Goldingham.

Racing will comprise of two classes, Rec & Sport/Expert, with age categories within each class. The course differs for each class with Rec track being a little less technical. The course map can be downloaded from this site

The accent is on participation & friendly competition with the aim of having a good time on some new tracks. There is even a "family" category within the Rec class for parent(s) & child(ren).
