Has anyone used one of these child bike seats:

Is it any good?  Would it be suitable for use in the Redwoods?  Or is it really only for easier going trails?

Another option is the Mac Ride seat, but it's not available until after summer is done and dusted:

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

Hi Clinton

I haven't used one myself, however friends of mine have.  They rate it highly, saying it keeps the weight distribution a lot more naturally placed.  Start off on easier trails and see how your kid goes.  If he/she loves it, then start progressing in difficulty.  It is just like riding - confidence is key.

Thanks Greg.  I'll give it a shot.  It's for my two year old.  Wasn't intending to get into the Redwoods straight away, but something to build towards once she's comfortable, perhaps in 12 months or so.
