Event Description

Grab a small group of your riding friends and put together a team for this new event based on the successful XC Team Relay format. Mackenzie College students are organising a 10hr XC MTB relay as a fundraiser for their Adventure Race Team. The date is 2nd February 2013. The location is Lake Tekapo Regional Park - Pine Forest.

"Please pass on to all the Dunedin MTBers that I will hold the entry fee at $50 for any entries travelling from Dunedin area. That entry price will be held until 30th January. It would be good to have a good contingent from your way to challenge some strong Timaru, Christchurch and Mackenzie Teams."

NICOLS CREEK TRAIL DAYS

10am Sunday 26th May

Starting from the spiral bridge at the top of the track, we'll be gravelling DOWN the track from the top two piles of shingle.

Hamish has flagged the quick walking line up the hill ridge with red and white tape – is way faster walking straight up rather than up the MTB track. About 20min up to the top shingle pile.

Bring wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes, gloves and good boots. There will be transport for barrows and tools up the farm track if you arrive at 10am.
